Burlington Farming are a diversified agricultural enterprise with interests in broadacre cropping, livestock production, pasture seed multiplication, seed cleaning and processing, and agricultural research. Our operations include our sister company, UMS, a dedicated pasture seed business, a commercial seed cleaning plant, and an on-farm research station that supports innovation and product development across the business. As an Office Administrator, you will play a key support role across our farming and seed operations, providing administrative assistance to management and operational staff. This maternity leave position offers a the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a modern agricultural business and a range of administrative tasks Responsibilities include an A-Z of a successful and forward thinking agribusiness, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, financial recordkeeping, monitoring office and PPE supplies, to payroll and timesheet reporting. With a modern office on site, you will be supported by the Farm Manager and Cleaning Plant Manager in inventory management, recording seed production and data processing. Seasonal harvest team join us from December to April and require onboarding, and inductions. Workplace Health and Safety is central to the company and you will be involved in record-keeping, compliance and toolbox meetings. Additional duties include accounts payable and receivable processing, invoicing, bank reconciliations, financial recordkeeping, monitoring office and PPE supplies, timesheet reporting, rental property inspections, ensuring maintenance requests are completed, and maintaining accurate livestock and cropping records using systems such as AgriWebb and Agworld. This role would suit a highly organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is comfortable operating in a dynamic agricultural environment.
